CEO | Managing Director
Kieran is the founder of River X Investment Management, one of Australia’s fastest-growing independent wealth management firms. Since the firm’s inception in 2023, Kieran has scaled River X to serve over 2,000 clients, overseeing a substantial and rapidly expanding pool of funds under management (FUM).
With more than a decade of frontline experience across domestic and international markets, Kieran has personally invested in and advised on multiple asset classes spanning traditional equities, fixed income, property, venture capital, private equity, and alternative assets. His investment philosophy is anchored in independence, client-centricity, and best-of-breed asset selection, that allow clients to achieve their goals and objectives—principles that continue to define his career as both a business owner and professional investor.
Before launching River X, Kieran built and scaled his wealth management businesses within Shaw and Partners, consistently ranking among the firm’s top advisors. These foundations, combined with his entrepreneurial drive, paved the way for River X’s creation: a next-generation wealth firm built by advisors, for clients.
The firm’s mission is to incorporate sophisticated and exclusive investment solutions into each client’s broader wealth creation strategy—whether navigating a liquidity event, managing an inheritance, or investing for future generations—delivering bespoke planning and structuring advice that aligns with their lifetime goals and objectives.
A self-made entrepreneur and investor, Kieran’s journey is defined by vision, resilience, and execution. His extensive network across the wealth ecosystem continues to unlock strategic partnerships, unique deal flow, and innovative strategies that deliver long-term value for both clients and advisors alike.
